Is there a way to turn off everytime I create or answer a post I get a weekly e-mail?

 

Don't subscribe to threads? Check the user CP under "edit options".

To turn off the individual subscriptions :

User CP ( in the black menu bar ) left hand side, scroll down to Subscribed Threads, and click on the URL for List Subscriptions.

Check the box at the end of the thread line, and the drop down menu at the bottom of the threads, you can delete the subscription completely, or leave it in the list, and just select no email notification if you want to keep a list of the threads.

Adding a thread to the subscription without email notification is a good way to bookmark threads on the site, so you can still find them if you use another computer ( and don't want to bookmark on the computer ).

 

Good point, the default for all threads could be set to weekly digest.

Didn't think of this until I saw your thread.

That is edit options, Default Thread Subscription Mode, and the pull down menu might be set to weekly, where he might be talking about shutting that off.

Thanks guys, funny thing is I didn't subscribe to anything I just starting getting them after I submitted a couple of questions but I will check inside of the User CP. Seems when I joined it may have defaulted to receive weekly e-mail notification but I changed that option. Thanks

Kind of hard to see, but start with the upper left hand corner, this will give the menu on the left.
