Copy/Paste picture

I see many posts with photo's. For some reason I can't post a picture of my truck. The only way I could was to create a gallary and post the link. How do you add pics right to the posting?

ok, I see the posting rules down below. One reads: You may not post attachments. I'll put 2 and 2 together here and guess that’s why I can't...

Are the rules connected to your status, junior, senior, etc?

No problem. You can add the link to your gallery in the User CP area under Edit Profile, too.

Your gallery number is 10935.

Here is a link to your gallery:

https://www.f150online.com/galleries...cfm?gnum=10990

Your gallery number is 10990. You need to load some pictures in an album in your gallery and then when you click on the picture it will open in a new page. There will be a link "Forum Codes" to the right. Another link will open in a pop-up and then you copy the link (right-click with your mouse and select copy). Go to a post by you in the message boards and right-click "paste".

Are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox? When you right-click on the image your should get an option to Copy Image Location in Firefox. In IE you need to right-click and then go to Properties. Highlight the link address, copy then paste.

You can use this process with any image on the web.

Right, you can save any pic that you want to upload to your pictures folder or your desktop by right clicking. Then go to " add pictures" after starting a gallery. Then you hit browse , then desktop folder or My pictures folder to upload.

To post your pic in a thread. Bring up your gallery once you have pics in it. Click on forum codes - copy the top link and then post it in the thread..

Did I get that right ? That's what I do anyway..

jbrew,
If you want the camera icon to show up so people can go directly to your gallery from a post that you made do the following:
1. Go to User CP
2. Click on Edit Profile
3. Go to the bottom and add your gallery ID. Yours is 7538

mhockey9090,
I just added a picture to my gallery so I am not sure. Are you going into your album and clicking on [Add Photos]?

About your signature picture:
1. You have an extra set of img tags in your signature picture.
2. You may want to make it a little smaller. The standard size here is a 500x100 pixel image.
