Click on the user name and you will see it there. If the person you are sending it to isn't a Senior member you will not be able to send one to them.

Just checked yours by trying to send you one. You don't have Private Messaging selected under your User CP.

I'm probably just being retarded, but I really can't figure it out. Anytime I try to do anything with private messaging I get this message:
chester8420, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I don't know how to turn it on. I don't see that option in my cp.

Go to User CP, then Edit Options on the left. It is in the middle of the page.

you have to have 100 posts and also need to have been a member for 90 days. since you joined on 1-27-06 you need to wait another month.

As part of this upgrade, we are going to experiment a little with some of the new (and old) features in the software. These experiments include:

1) enabling "reputation" which gives users the ability to rate their fellow users

2) enabling "private messaging" for users that have been on the site for at least 90 days and posted at least 100 messages

I want to reiterate, this is just an experiment. If we decide to implement any of the features permanently, we will post the rules (if any) for their use. They may be turned off, modified or discontinued without notice!

If you have any questions, please let me know. There are still a few design tweaks that have yet to be completed. I hope to get to those shortly.
