Gallery link in sig

In my Sig, I have my link to my gallery but it still has the http\\. bla bla bla. I want it to be My Truck. It says I can change any of the text between the URL tags. When I do, it looks great but when I click it, it tells me that "This page cannot be displayed" What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

Thanks Lee,

They should be a little more descriptive in there instructions. I've been trying different things since I signed up here....Finally. They could give an example as you did me.

Red face

You can also do a picture hyperlink, which looks slick. Where it says "My Truck", you can insert an image link. So when it's all said and done, you have a pic in your sig which links to your gallery.,,,,98

I used to use that, but got lazy one day when I changed my signature.

thats how my pics are set up. the truck links to my gallery and the search for dummies links to the main search page.

actually they do. in the bottom left corner of each page there is a box of "posting rules" click on the vB code and it will give you a complete list with examples.

OMG LEE YOU ARE A GOD!!! i was just getting ready to post a topic about this until i found this one. i'm with CDB03STX, i've been trying to get that to work since the day i signed up. i've lost count of how many different things i've tried, either the instructions suck that bad or i'm just an idiot. i also like 98SCREAMER's idea, i'll have to rememeber that
