I tried to check my private messages today and I got a message saying it was disabled. Is there a reason for this or do I need higher post numbers? Just curious, Thanks.

 

I don't think the number of posts has anything to do with it.
It's probably the Jeep in your signature.

Wait, just got a PM from the adminstrator.
He says it's not the Jeep,
it's the Suzuki.

The problem really is a poorly worded message:
"Your administrator has disabled private messaging"
it should read "The administrator has..."

Using 'Your' at first glance gives the appearance that it has only happened to you when actually nobody has PM.

The forum is designed for one-to-many exchange.
There are a multitude of one-to-one capabilities already in cyberspace.
The webmaster has limited 'time/resources/patience/etc.../'
