Posts not fitting screens

Anyone know why some threads fit the screen and others you have to scroll back and forth to read? It's really annoying! I know it is not my screen settings.

Thanks

I do know when someone posts a really big picture, it takes up a lot of space and you have to scroll left and right. But other than that, I was wondering the same thing.

Other than the reason that JT noted, I don't know why this would happen.

Can you provide a link to specific post where this is an issue?

Also, whay screem resolution are you running?

The site is "optimized" for 1024x768 or larger.

Ok, Lees has solved the mystery. The large pic forced the entire thread to "go wide". My screen setting is 800x600, this works fine for most threads.

Webmaster- not good at links but this thread is now the perfect example (thanks Lee).
Perhaps a limit to image size?? The smaller screen size is difficult to read! (for us mature folks!)

Thanks!!

Images from our own hosted galleries do limit image width, but otherwise it is impossible to control the size of images that people link to from outside source. Sorry.
