How come when i do a search i get everything under the sun? For example if you do a search for optima battery your get all kinds of threads. I tried the advance search also and still got alot of threads that didnt pertain to the search for example i got a thread on windsheild decals which in its self was and interesting thread. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

I will also say i like the new format of the site looks great.

The search did its job. You got the decal thread since a post by Matt Adams had the following in it:

Optima - 2 batteries
Wrangler NW - alternator and dual battery kit

You'll note the keywords for your search are close proximity and considered a match. If you want to be more specific with your search, you can wrap your keyphrase around quotes. Entering "optima battery" will only return results when those words are right next to each other and not just anywhere in the post.

Good luck and keep using that search!
