I don't know, I just thought it'd be cool to have them. People b!tch about sigs being too big all the time, but I think it's nice to have them...it makes it easier to see who's posting. Most of the time, I recognize sigs before I recognize names.

I think avatars would be another (smaller/easier) way for some people to add some personality to their posts.

Just a thought...heck, maybe it's just a brain fart?

 

Yeah, I'd take an avitar over a sig anyday. I like the sigs to 1. quickly identify who's post and 2. navigate through long threads or threads that have muliple posts while I'm away...

Either that or slap a size restriction on sigs... but that's more policing for the mods. D'oh!
