Question Can't view galleries

Why is it I can't view a anyone elses' galleries? When I follow the link, the upper right lists albums they've created, but there's no hyperlink available. Yes, I am logged in.

Here's my gallery

The link that you've used to tie to your gallery is bad...

The correct link should be: https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=3935

thorin's Gallery

It seems to be working correctly for me...

Is this the link that you claim isn't working correctly? https://www.f150online.com/galleries/index.cfm

Anyone else having problems?

I'm not talking about a bad link. I mean that when I click a hyperlink to another users gallery, all I see is the table with their truck and personal information. In the upper right it says they've got x number of galleries with y number of pictures and z number of views. How do I get to their pictures?

Here's an example gallery that I can't see the pictures on. Yeah, somehow I did screw up the link to my gallery. I'm still learnin'. Hopefully I did the following correctly.

Thanks,

Kurt

Someone's gallery

Hi Kurt,

That's not "Someone's Gallery"...that's My Gallery .

There's not a text hyperlink to the album pictures...you just need to click on the thumbnail picture above each gallery name. Did you try that?

I wasn't trying to sound snooty when I corrected your link there.. just pointing out that it wasn't working correctly and added an additional link to help for linking... nothing more.

To view their galleries, all you have to do is click on the big picture with their gallery. IE: if they have a gallery named MODS!, click on the picture that is associated with MODS! and it'll bring up another window to view the pics.

Is that the problem you're having? Still not sure I understand.

thorin,

Further consideration of your post makes me think that what you're seeing on your screen isn't what I see on mine when I view a gallery:

I know that that are some issues with certain web browsers. What operating system and web browser are you using?

JohnandDar:

I think you nailed it. This is what I see on My Windows XP system running IE6.0 with all the Windows Update components current.

Hopefully this shows my gallery with no visible picture links associated with the album in the upper right. How do I fix that.

Rock Pick, I'm not one of those whiny babies that takes offense at every little thing. Much thicker skin than that. I appreciate your help.

Well, it didn't show the image, but it does show a link to the correct image. How do you put actual pictures in the body of a message? I used "[IMG] link inserted here [IMG]".

Thorin, Went to your link, saw the same thing you did, lack of picture.

Went to your gallery page and I could see all the pictures in your album (7).

BTW here's the one you wished to post, forgot the / before the img in the [img]

Try the simple thing, change browsers and see if that makes a difference.

Thorin,
That I can definately help you with.
To get the image in the thread: Go to your gallery album and open the picture you want to insert in the thread. In the lower right corner, you'll see "Forum Codes". Click on that and a new window will open up with the image links for "Fullsize" and "Thumbnail". Copy which code you want and paste it into your message.

Now, as far as your trouble viewing albums, I did a search and found a thread where another member had the same problem. Through trial and error, he found that he had ZoneAlarm installed in his computer and he had to disable "Banner/Skyscraper Ad Blocking" in order to view the album links. Might you have anything like that installed on your PC?

Hopefully that will help,

John

Great! We'll have to remember that fix. It's sure to come up again for someone else.
