I don't know if it was just timing or coincidence, but when the pop-ups started last night, I just went to "My AOL"/preferences/marketing/pop-up and deselected popups. As of this morning, no pop-ups!

Thanks for removing about.com pop up, it was driving me nuts the other night. Dunbarton stated it well (oh God help us all). Though today is my 2 month anniversary as being a registered member I plan to stick around, I'm learning alot. I know that somewhere in this site you have a proposal for membership with a fee, a no fee site allows more people to access it but someone has to pay. I'll keep hitting on your advertisers as long as it helps.
Steve are you going to Norfolk in June?

I got you all beat, I have been spanking the monkey for a couple of months now! Sometimes twice a day. I also tried to "skin my browser" but it did not work too well.

I have marked my calendar, and if nothing else comes up, I (and my wife) hope to be there!

Steve

P.S. - F-150 Online will NEVER be a fee-based site while I am running the place. However, some sort of membership (that may include store discounts, stickers, email account, web space, etc. may be a possibilty)

Seacrow,
that last comment you made was hilarious, I am LMAO. Nothing like calling a spade a spade.

Steve,
I've been a faithful list member for.....lets see now 26 months come to mind. As long as you are maintaining this Web site, you will have my undivided attention, for at least an hour per day....ok maybe two hours.

Thanks.

PS Steve, in-addition to the cool F-150 on-line stickers, I think the list members need a personilized antenna ball to further represent their trucks, and this great Web site you created, The antenna ***** would be simuilar to the "Jack in the box" only with a F-150 fling to it. Just a thought........

Kenster,

I have AOL, and it says "NO, I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIEVE AOL MEMBERS ONLY POPUP OFFERS".
It has nothing to do with Pop-ups on webpages.

Steve, I just went to the Home Page from here
then went to https://www.f150online.com/pictures.html as soon as I did another browser pop up with
about.com.

Glad we'll get to meet you in Norfolk, I just hope you don't decide to pull this site after meeting some of us.

Steve, I too didn't like the ad popping up, but I knew it was an advertising deal for $$ ! Which made it ok by me... Just cliked it off when it showed up. As for the membership fee & what we would get for it listed above, count me in if you do it !!

Franks & Beans... I don't want any "*****" on my truck ! The only ***** I want on/in my truck are uh... uh... Ball bearings & my own ! LOL
