Another oddity

I guess this started about last night and I've been getting it since.

(look next to the thread titles...the little images aren't showing up)

Anybody else getting this? Sometimes it shows up as a bunch of little red x's, and refreshing usually fixes it. If not maybe I just need to clean up my temp files and whatnot.

It's probably just a browser caching issue, as you suggest.

It's not that simple, unfortunately. You would also need to clear your DNS cache, as well.

All I know is that I've been having so much trouble this is my first successful post in about a month. I have experienced various problems using 3 different PCs all using different configurations:

PC#1:Network PC using Internet Explorer, running XP Pro

PC#2:Laptop using dialup to remote host servers, running Win2K

PC#3:PC using dialup to AOL, running XP Home.

I have experienced most of the problems listed; however last night my ID showed in the "logged in users" panel at the bottom of the forum, but I couldn't post, SEARCH, or look at my USERCP. I tried to logout, at it said I was successful, and when I logged in I recieved the "welcome back", but I still could not post. After selecting "Reply" I was pushed to the "sorry you are not allowed, login or register" screen. I would then login, get the welcome, and start all over again. After about half an hour I gave up.
