Well I used AOL about 4 or 5 years ago for about a month I had a hard time getting online and sometimes would be kicked off line so I canceled it. And every now and then I get there stupid cd in the mail saying they want me to come back to the new and improved AOL as I can see they haven't improved very much.

Free installation promotion until the end of the month
They are even going to give me the hardware for free
Plus now I can be on the net while the wife is on the phone solving a whole bunch of "other" problems !!

Your AOL display problem is probably the speed you connected at. My friends are on one of AOL's 56K telephone numbers and never get faster than 28,800. Most of the time they are at 26,400.
