What the hell is wrong with the search engine

When you try and search for example "fog Light Mod" it says you have to have a min. of 4 words? So I type in truck afterwords, still doesnt work, then lightning after that.... I am not new around here but havent used the search function yet. Any help would be appreciated. My roommate just bought an Black '03 and he is thinking about doing the mod wehere you file the ramp down.

No you need a minimum of 4 letters in each word. Not 4 words. It also says right below:

Advanced query: Join words with AND, OR and NOT to control your search in more detail.
Add asterisks (*) to use wild cards in your search (*bullet* matches vBulletin etc.)

Yea I don't like how it does that either. Makes it harder to search up stuff like "IAC cleaning" or "QA1"

The search engine works fine
You just have to use it as it was intended.

If folks would put the posts in the right forum it would make it easier to search.

Wait - Ill move this one to questions about the site .. Where the same question has been asked and answered many times before....

Thanks for the replies, I was in a hurry to go to a cookout and must not of paid enough attention. I still think the search engine sucks(no offense to the webmaster).

Amen dude. We have so many 3 letter acronyms that the search tool here can be useless at times. Dont forget MAF and CAI
