Search Limits
What's with the stupid 4 letter limit on the forum search function? Is it because it would bring back too many results? It's frustrating when I'm trying to find something like MAF or PCV. Not many people spell out the terms.

Searches of less than four positions would considered advanced searches.
"Add asterisks (*) to use wild cards in your search (*bullet* matches vBulletin etc.) "
A search on (MAF*) returned 967 threads.
It would be better to search on (MAF*) and change the default on 'where to search to 'Thread Titles Only'
The result of this search was (9)nine threads and you may find what you want to know more quickly than in one of the 967 threads where 'MAF' was mentioned but, may not have been the focus of the thread.
