i have an 89 bronco with the push butten 4wd it comes on when Im going down the highway at 75mph and it wont work any other time

let me see if i understand what youre saying. so youre saying that your 4x4 only engages at 75mph and not any other time? did you engage it at 75 mph or it comes on by itself. you could do some serious damage to your transfer case just switching to 4WD at 75 mph!

 

it comes on by it self some times. the 4wd will engage and the low range comes on and starts flashing.

 

Sounds electrical if it says low range at 75 mph, short maybe?
