Thanks for the info. About changing the firing order, do I have to get the HO cam, or can I do it with the stock one? This sounds interesting. I always wondered why the mustangs sound so much meaner than my truck.
To change the firing order you need the H.O. cam first, then you can rewire the plug routing, no need even to change the computer. A cheap way to do this is to get a stock Mustang cam which is a torque monster anyway.. not downplaying a custom cam because I think thats worth about another 10lb/ft+ at least if not more..

Good to hear from ya. The car is ok. I got a 351 now with a S trim. Its sits in the garage mostly and gets worked on every once in a while. I bought some Ron Anderson 1 3/4 Shortys and they are hitting the steering columb so thats next to fix., I put a 1/2 feul system on it with 50lb inj and its leaking every where! Lots of fun. I bought a Boat last summer so when I get sick of it I just go float and drink beer. The blower is a SN93. The seals were blown so I got it rebuilt and Paxton did all the SN2000 upgrades...whatever that is? I get just about 8lbs of boost at 5200 rpms. I actually got all the stuff with the blower. I like the idea of the Mustang stock cam. My truck is a 95 w/ mass air and roller cam but NO ONE can tell me what the hell the specs are. I don't think its a Mustang cam. The motor is getting old so I will probably do a custom towing cam at rebuild. I was thinking about a 327 stroker but no one has seem to have done one so I have nothing to compare to. I could do another 351. I got all the EFI intake stuff and flex plate etc for it. Just wondering how the blower would hook up. This is the daily driver so I can't waste too much time fabricating

do you have a photo gallery? You can check out all mine under FORCEFD. How is your car runnin? I finally broke down and got a roll bar in mine. Lord knows I haven't even set foot on the track since I put the blower on. The car 12.80's under fueled, conservative timing etc N/A. Not bad on a TX summer eve at 95 degrees!
No driveability issues with the blower. It actually is for a 302/351 so I was told. Biggest pain was getting the A/C in place..just awkward. This kit is good for about 12lbs I hear. Its like night and day when towing. I can actually go up hills at 80 mph and still have power in reserve. I think that once I do a rebuild w/ the GT40s I picked up and a custom cam I will get a chip burnt to help out towing. For now its still all stock minus the 1.7 rr and exhaust. Truck wass mass air from the factory

I decided against the extra cubes. That is awesome to hear how much extra power the blower adds when towing. I can't imagine extra power going up a hill at 80 towing a car.. My goal is to be able to set the cruise at 75mph while towing and NOT have the pedal go all the way to the floor and foul out my plugs on a long uphill.. I had Buddy Rawls cut me a cam for my truck w/ the E7TE heads lightly ported and full length headers and true duals:Cam Specs:
.506"/.506" (w/1.6), 263/269 adv, 213/220 @.050, on a 110 LSA
I need to populate my photo gallery. I sold the coupe in October last year and took delivery of an 03' Sonic Blue Cobra in June that I've been tweaking.. its upto 463/473 rwhp/tq and I'm not stopping till its 500/500, maybe a little more.. after that I'll do gears, subframes, a new clutch (DOH!) and 10.5' wheels outback for the 315/35/17 drag radials..
Sorry to hijack your thread Beastie, Joe is a good guy and knows his stuff, I was just happy to see him join the board!
I'll make you all a deal, come to Dallas and I'll take you on a torque-induced tire frying joy ride sure to make Goodyear shareholders smile! I'm still kicking myself for not having even 1 pic of the truck.. I must have some w/ some dead ducks laying on there?? Here are some pics of the Mustang..

Sweet looking car!! That color looks great. I love the whole new front end/hood. When you get soem picks of your truck, would you mind getting me some picks of your headers and some picks of your whole exhaust sytem so I can get a better idea of everything. Thanks
Just added a few pics of the truck. I'll get some much better pics of the engine/exhaust.. Its gonna be raining for the next 2 days so I'll see what I can do about getting a light under there and snapping some..
