Does this sound right?

I just got back from a trip to Mt. Hood. I left from Moscow, ID and on the trip to Mt. Hood I got 321.5 miles on my rear tank alone, and I got identical gas mileage on the way back. If my calculations are correct, considering the rear tank is 18.2 gallons, and I figured in 19 for a little over flow just to be on the safe side for the calculation I got 16.921 mpg. This is with a 94 F150 Supercab, 5.8 L, e4od, and 31 in. BFG Mud Terrains. I had 5 adult sized college students and all the ski equipment for another car full of guys. I have an exhaust, superchip and a k&n with the bottom of the airbox cutout. Am I hallucinating or are other people seeing these results from such simple mods?

If I baby it in the city, I get 16 mpg with a 302. On the interstate, I only get 18. The superchip really helped out my gas mileage. So sure that sounds right

i get about 13 around town with my 302/5-speed and 33" tires, so i think its possible for you to get that kind of mileage. how do you compude your mileage? you dont need to know the size of your tank. what i do is erase the trip odometer every time i fill up, then next time i get gas i divide the miles on the trip odometer by the gallons it took to fill up the tank.
