Steering Wheel

The leather wrap, or whatever it is, is falling apart at the top of the wheel. the is where I put my hand, at 1 spot you can see the plastic wheel itself, and around the rest of it, about 4 inches, the wrap is just flaking off. How do you get a new wrap, can you buy it?? I dont want just a cover from autozone or something, I want a whole new cover, unless this is not possible.

I've been told you can have it re-rapped. You might check some trim places or upolstry places, also, a lot of auto body shops know places because they restore cars sometimes. Im not sure where to get it done, just heard you can. Those cheapy covers and wrappings suck.

Check eBay. I bought a complete steering wheel w/ air bag for $35 about 6 months ago. I don't need it yet, but it was in mint condition, and I know I will need it someday.

Take care,

Well the cover tore , so I ripped all of it off, and then I noticed that it has 4 slots cut in it, so I glued some pieces of black wire in there, and it looks good. Only thing is, that the slots were different , so in some spots, the wire sticks out a little, but it is okay.
