Well the lakefront was closed off, because the streets are covered with sand and water, so everyone that usuall parks, was just driving around.
I had a revving contest with a 5.4 4x4 Screw, and then we did a little 5 - 35 mph blast, where I had him by a half truck.
Next was a Ram 1500 V-6 Manual. He came blowing by me and Intel486, so I went after him. We got lines up next to one another at a light, and I rolled into the gas, and by the time I hit 50, I had him by about 2 1/2 - 3 truck lengths. We go over a little overpass, and he drops it into gear, and I wait for the endless downshift (Mike will a shift kit speed this up?) nad take off, and pull a truck length on him. Well once we hit the crest he gets on it again. so I rub it in, and take it up to about 70. But at the next light, the guy tells me I have a nice truck, I say likewise, and we say a few things, and go our seperate ways. I respect him, he didnt do the loosers flyby.
Next was wit ha early 90s Celics all riced out. I didnt know he wanted ot run, so I took of normal, but I hear him spin his tires of the line. I drop it into 1st ,and take it to about 45, I heard him shut it down, and he was at my back bumper.
Well while I was messing around with the Celica, a new F-150 v-6 Standard, takes off around both of us. Well I follow him for a little, and we eventually catch a light. This guy was reving his engine the whole time he was cruising. I said I'm gonna pu this guy in his place. Well the light goes green and I goto WOT, with mininmal tire spin, by the time I hit 60, he was about 3 lengths behind me. he did the usual loosers flyby, and then turns off at the next light. His truck seemed to lack a whole lot of power off the line. Once He hit about 20, I was still pulling on him, but not as fast as off the line.
