Can you elaborate about how its running? Is this your first time wreching on a 302 w/ EFI? In other words are you certain your timing is set correctly and the firing order is wired properly etc.. not trying to insult you, just figure out where you are.

Cool E-303

JerryK, No I have turned a few wrenches, installed other cams in non-comp. cars but this is not working for some reason , @ 3000 rpm seems to work fine just at idle to mid RPM not good , was able to smoke tires with stock cam but not now . Surges while driving 30mph and idles real rough.

Thats cool... so other thoughts: a 110 lobe center is going to idle rougher than a 112 or 114 factory-like LC. You definetly can not idle it down below 900rpm unless you want the whole truck and everyone inside doing the side to side "lope, lope, lope".. I also gotta ask what you were expecting with that cam if you have kept the stock heads and intake? I'm sure it winds out a lot better over 3000rpm but like you said you're huring below 3000. You're better off converting to the Edlebrock Performer intake and gaining the benefits of that cam than swapping back. Just my .02.
