There is only 1 spider necessary and it is about 12" long by 10" wide I'm guessing when you measure "arm to arm" and top to bottom.

gotcha! now since my 89's block is supposed to be a roller block, i shouldnt need any machinework to install these things, correct? or will i need any work done to the block? im sorry for all the questions, i really appreciate the help!

No machine work necessary, the holes are already threaded. You will need to find the right size and length screws to hold it in.. thats it.
