Does anybody know or have done a 4.6L automatic swap into a 86 F-150 automatic?

I doubt the bell housing with the tranny would just bolt up...tranny was intended for the 4.9L, 5.0, or 5.8L

 

It would be an EFI nightmare. The 96 up electronics are significantly different from the 95 down.

 

i agree with strangeranger, it would be a WIRING nightmare!

 

although 96 and up are all OBM II computers...so it might not be to difficult. And I wonder if any at difference in the mazda 5spd of the pre-97 to the post 97 mazda 5spd bellhousing.
