I could look it up for you, but 10-15 pounds is plenty. The best way to do it is with a 1/4" ratchet, and hold your hand close to the ratchet end while tightening.

Make sure the gasket surface is completely clean, and use some gasgacinch, if you can find it, to adhere the gasket to the valve cover. That stuff is trick!

Take care,
~Chris

The spec is 70-120 1nch-lbs. (6-10 ft-lbs.) You'll have to pull the upper intake manifold only. None of the serious EFI stuff needs to come off and the upper pretty much pulls in one piece. The only trick part is that you'll probably need to disconnect the EGR tube on both ends to get the upper manifold off. The lower end of the tube is a b***h.

You'll need a new upper to lower manifold gasket and the torque spec to re-install the upper to lower studs is 12-18 ft-lbs.

You can find the "gasgacinch" that Chris mentioned at Pepboys...I wouldn't use an adhesive with silicone in it because that stuff is crap as soon as it gets hot.

Don't use any rtv type stuff, it will actually cause it to leak. Gaskacinch, or trim stick is great, or just put it on dry. You don't need to torque it to spec, if you have a foot pound torque wrench it won't go that low anyways. Just make the bolts hand tight with a 1/4" drive ratchet. Pulling the upper intake plenum can be a p.i.t.a. if everythings all seized up, other wise the job isn't too hard and it's virtually impossible to screw up.
