Sounds like when you swapped the tank you may have somehow sucked up some crap into the fuel system, try changing the fuel filter.

Hows the cranking speed? If it's cranking slow the starter may be going. If it's cranking normal but just won't start i'd look at the fuel system.

It definately sounds like a fuel pressure problem. You need to check your fuel pressure KOEO. It should reach 30 psi the first time you turn the key on. Until you solve the problem, you can prime the fuel system by turning the key on (do not try to start the engine) for two seconds, then turn the key off for two seconds, then on for two seconds, then off for two seconds, etc. Do this 3 or 4 times, then try to start it. It should start right up.

Take care,
~Chris

The strainer in the tank just keeps out the big crap, where as the filter traps particles down to 50 microns or so in size. IF the strainer could do that you wouldn't need a filter.

KOEO pressure is 30-45psi for 5.0/5.8 and 45-60 for 4.9 Check out recent post for fuel specs at https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...threadid=84781
