Question E4OD - hard to read fluid level?

I've got a leak in my E4OD tranny. I'm trying to put in more fluid, but the dipstick is impossible to read! I do NOT want to overfill the tranny, but it looks like the only fluid on the stick is stuff that is stuck on the walls of the filler tube. Will the level be as obvious as on an oil dipstick when I finally have the right amount of fluid in there?

SOS! (Save One SuperCab!)

You need to be patient and let the fluid drain into the pan. It will be a noticable level on the dipstick, though, but it's best to read it 5 or 10 minutes after filling.

Take care,

Thanks, PKRWUD!

Sure hope I get it right. I'm gonna do one of the steepest roads in Inyo County this weekend - Coyote Flat Road from Bishop. I'll post some pictures when I get back!
