It's been established that as far as performance gains go a header is not exactly worth it. But would it make the truck louder/deeper. Because that was my original want for one, so if it'd do that... and besides i dought power gains are 0trq and 0hp...right?

 

Header(s) do change the sound. It gives it a kind of crack or mellow bang sound. Even in 4 bangers you can tell the difference. I had an Escort w/ headers and it was way better than any other escort. Performance will increase, you might not feel it in the seat of your pants tho. Headers are only one tiny part of a complete power machine.

If you get a complete exhaust system and header(s) you'll definately enjoy your header.
