AC good on Norm, dies on Max?

AC good on Norm, dies on Max?
This happened 1x this week: it was blowing good at Normal setting with a High blower speed. I switched to Max AC and within 5 seconds the fan stopped blowing. I dropped the fan speed from max fan speed and it started blowing cold air but it would not blow at max AC and max fan speed????? Any ideas..?
