Good day/Bad day...Good part of the day was I finaly got to use my $50 gift certificate at the local car wash.I got the truck the supreme special thing(nice wax),well when the guys were done with the beast I get in and it won't start! No power to anything...Thinking it's the battery I open the hood and it's the ford motorcraft battery and it has the green(good)/red(bad) lense and it was bright green(still good)..so I was able to get it push started and get it home....I called around and the only place that would have a alternator tomorrow is Kragen for $185!!!! So in the end I have a great looking truck with a extremely shiny finish but it can't move!!!!

BTW the alternator has a life time warranty.

 

well I'm a idiot! It ended up only being my battery. My (-)neg battery terminal was to dirty and I saw it arcing(SP?). So I cleaned it realy good with some baking soda and a a brush and all is well!
