well, im not gonna need a new manifold after all. my little idea worked perfectly, i re-threaded the hole and put a new bolt in. i do have a major problem though...after puttingeverything back together, i started filling the radiator with coolant/water and noticed that the engine is spitting it back out! i figured it was maybe coming out of one of the gaskets or something, but turns out its coming out of the driver's side of theengine, near the back. what the hell is that? did one of my freeze plugs give out? thats all i can think of. well igotta go back to campus tomorrow andi have finals coming up in 2 weeks so im not gonna be able to work on the truck for another month or so. this sucks, i was hoping to have it ready today! sorry, just venting...

 

Get a mirror and dump some more water in see if you can identify it. Good luck. You'll know your eng like the back of your hand soon
