i need a stock 302 lower intake manifold...

i need a lower intake manifold for my truck, any of you guys have one for sale(those of you who've replaced it with the edelbrock)? ive been looking at junk yards, but no luck so far. found 2, but they were both cracked. i have 1 more junk yard to check out (im gonna go this coming saturday), but if i cant find it there then im gonna have to buy a used one from somebody. those of you who have one and want to get rid of it, how much do you want for them? i only need the lower manifold, not the upper plenum. by the way, will a mustang HO lower manifold fit with my stock upper? or are they different? thanks...

I'll have one with fuel rails, injectors and such as soon as I got my mass-air conversion and intake upgrade done

Oh, and the Mustang lower manifold will fit, but then you upper manifold won't

On the subject of intake lowers, which trucks used the round port lowers?

Noticed a picture in my Haynes manual that clearly shows the intake having the round ports, in line (not staggered like the Cobra). Anybody have any scoop?

I think that's the Lightning with the round ports. They used the Mustang GT40 intake.

Donate54,

I still have mine and I'd REALLY like to get rid of it!!! If you've already made arrangements with dvldog458 then that's cool, if not, the supply and demand ratio is in your favor Since dvldog458 posted first, I'll let him get first cracks at selling it. I don't want to start anything here

The L did use the GT40 intake, but those have the staggered round ports. This picture shows the ports in a straight line, but they are not the rectangular ports. They might be slightly oval, but appear to be round like the Mustange HO intakes have.

Donate,

Does your manifold have rectangular or round ports?

Well, if Donate54's truck is anything like mine, (and I'm assuming it is) when he pulls his intake off next week, he'll find that his intake manifold has rectangular ports. Sorry, I didn't mean to spoil the surprise

TF,

Until I noticed the pictures in my Haynes manual, I thought all the F-150 302s had rectangular ports. They have about three picures showing round ports....

ok guys, im VERY close to fixing the problem! i drilled the bolt out little by little until i got the entire bolt out and left onlythe hole in the manifold. i messed up the threads in the hole, but what im gonna do is re-thread the hole and use a slightly bigger bolt. since the bolt is slightly bigger, i also had to drill the t-stat housing a little so the bolt could pass thru. im i the process of re-threading the new hole in the manifold, ill let you guys know if this works as soon as i finish. so if all goes according to plan, i wont need a new intake manifold after all. thank you VERY much for the offers, however. i really appreciate the help!
