First the phucked news: My local Ford dealership told me the cable for my 1995 truck is an obsolete item, and that they would have to search out of state to find one. I called my buddies up north, and had it in my hands 3 days later. Still haven't put it in yet, but I don't see it taking more than 20 minutes.

By the way, I took a couple pics of the driveway at my bosses pad yesterday while getting the Sprint car ready. This is the driveway I was parking at the top of when my e-brake cable broke. Actually, the pictures don't do it justice at all. In the first picture, that little gray triangle just to the left of center is the street below! I was aiming the camera straight ahead when I took it. The second picture is taken from the same spot, but looking up the driveway. That's the front of my truck sticking out.

Also, they are to big to post here, but I took some really cool pics of the view from his side yard, as well as a couple on the ride home. Really beautiful country. Anyway, they are on the "Misc." page on my website, if you're interested.

Glad you got the cable. I used to be stationed in CA back in the 80s. Its nice to see some pics of beautiful CA again.
