I was at a school ball game tonight and some kids my age wants to race, we're in my friends moms truck (1997 F 150 with 5.4 v8) Well the kids in a around 95 or so Chevrolet lifted some prob... 35 for tires and he says he got a v6, i have a 4.9, he has an auto i have stick, he has dual exhaust and i think nothin more, I will have dual exhaust and maybe K&N filter and that's it, u think i'll beat him, and do u know what v6 he has? My truck is a 94 f 150 4X4 stick, i'll be addin this stuff this summer or later this year

 

Hard to say...his tires will slow him down...depending on his gearing,but you'll have to upperhand off the start with your stick...I've got a 96 4.9L stick but mines only 2 wheel drive stock and I've beat a few chevy's that sound about the same as you described...Just go for it...I guess it's ok to have a chevy beat you ever once n a while,but if a dodge does I'm coming after ya!
