I got a rear main seal leak!!! I guess I'm one of the lucky ones Any ways, the 302 isn't a bad engine, it was just produced during a less technologically advanced time than the new SOHC engines. However, I just need a little more torque to turn my 35" tires. That's why I would love a 351 under my hood, and with any luck, hopefully I'll have one after I get my money's worth out of my rebuilt 302.

Hello, overthere!

Unfortunately, there are not many Ford pickups here in Sweden, mostly Chevy and some Dodge, but I'm lucky to have one F150
Supercab XLT Lariat 4x4 1996 5.8 25000 miles and one F250 XLT Lariat 400 Cl.
The 5.8 is 18 MPG slow highway and 13 whith much throttle.
The 400 is 11-13MPG. Both 95% stock.
I am a bit disappointed of 5.8, it feels a bit week and I have to rev it much before it up-shifts, compared to the 400 C6 combo. The 5.8 work whith E4OD, and is lovely on the highway.

Very nice UncBob! What does the 'oval' say? If I had been more patient I would have a 351. But when i was looking for a truck a few years ago I thought I wanted a Chevy or GMC.
I definately wanted a push rod engine. Along came my current truck and I haven't had any serious problems yet *knocks on wood*.

There is a F250 94 in the wholesale lot where I work with a 351 and supercab for $8000. Less miles than what I have and the better bucket seat, the wifey poo doesn't want me to upgrade but I want to
