1990 F150 Questions

I have several questions that I would love to get some help on. I have never been able to find information about the power output of my motor, a 1990 302 V8 EFI. If anyone could tell me or tell me where to find the horse power and torque specs, I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, to be honest, I would only recommend getting the cam if you will be tearing apart the engine any ways. It's a lot of work/money to replace a cam and it doesn't make a big enough difference to warrant a straight cam swap. However, I had it put in when I replaced my engine a year and a half ago so there was really no extra labor required, and at about $150, it wasn't too expensive. To be honest, though I really can't say how much of a difference just the cam makes since I got a new engine at the same time, and as we all know, no two engines are alike. But my best guess is that it is similar to most of the bolt on mods-- it's not going to change the personality of the engine, it'll just give it a little extra push. Hope this helps.
