My 89 302 seems to have good battery power, but has suddenly stopped getting any reaction from the starter. Where do I start? Thanks,

 

What happens when you turn the key? Do you hear a click? If there is no click i would first be sure that the battery cables aren't badly corroded or broken off. Most likely though you just need a starter solenoid relay. $15 bucks at Autozone and takes about 10 minutes to install.
