i got a few questions for you guys...
1. has anyone swapped their bench seats for bucket seats? ive seen a few companies that make some, but im not sure if theyre the same height as the stock seats, some look like they sit lower (intended for cars, not trucks). i dont want to buy one and then find out that i can barely see over the steering wheel.
2. i want to install a brand new dash in my truck, any ideas where i could get one? i dont want anything fancy, a stock one will do, but so far i havent found any used ones in decent shape, so i was wondering if you guys know of any sites that sell them new for older trucks. i dont want one of those caps that only cover the top either, cuz my WHOLE dash is in pretty sad shape and im trying to restore the interior of my truck. thanks a lot for the info!!!

I don't know about the seat heights but since it is just a steel frame on the bottom you could probably fabricate something to lift it up if needed.
I don't remember the name of the company off hand but there is a company that make restoration kits for dashboards. It is a new piece of vinyl that glues on on to the old dashboard. When it's done it looks like a brand new dash. I think it is pretty cheap to, like $150.
