wow, i didint know carparts had it for so cheap. i know summit hads it, but for $519.95. truckperformance.com is even more expensive i think. either way, carparts.com is going to be cheaper, at that price.
Its not that cheap at CarParts: I don't see the 33% off Coupon but even if there WAS a coupon it would be $488 and I don't know if they have free shipping either. That IS the best price going though, I've called Keith Craft Racing, Summit, Jegs, etc.. Next to CarParts the next best thing is AutoZone at $501. If you can get 33% off (anyone have a coupon code?) AND free shipping (have a code for that?) then buy it at CarParts. Otherwise its AutoZone.
where on carparts did you guys find it at those prices? im planning on buying it too and the cheapest ive found is summit at $520. this is what i found in carparts: http://www.carparts.com/parts/newsea...utoidsearch=NO
739.82?!?!
739.82?!?!
Thats the intake and that is their current price. What I said was IF you find a 33% off coupon and IF you find a free shipping coupon THEN you could have it at your door for $488. I do not have a coupon for either so its that $7xx price. If you have an Autozone in your area they quoted me $501!

No proble Donate. Let me know how you make out! I MAY buy the Mustang version and convert to Mustang spec EGR, Heater Tubes, Throttle Body etc.. what I'm NOT sure about are the throttle cables, anyone have any ideas?
Hey DvlDog, did you do the intake along w/ all your other upgrades or was it independent? If so, how was the improvement? Also, any cam specs on your cam and when you want to get maximum power what are you shifting that rig at?
I have a custom cam now along w/ very lightly cleaned up factory heads plus the full dual exhaust including long tubes etc. It pulls well to 5000 but I'm thinking the intake is the restricition and with a better one it will pull harder to 5K.

Sorry about the price on the Edelbrock intake.I did the install about a year and a half ago.It sucks that the price shot up so much.
Anyway, about the intake and cam,I installed the intake,cam,56mm throttle body,24lbs injectors, and roller rockers all at once.
It was a very big improvement.........being that i have 39" tires i needed it.
I do have to say that when i installed the heads THAT made a huge difference.
As far as the cam specs..........its really not that impresive Crane compu Cam part #364112 adv duration 252/270 lift 416/432
Its kinda crappy.........but i pushing my luck as it is with my non mass air setup.
I'm actually looking into converting over to a roller cam.....Ford makes a B303 cam that just might work........i have to do alittle more research.
Also,my shifting point is 5400 rpm.Any more then that it falls on its face.
Hope this helps.

Jerry D, shoot a note to Rawls1103@aol.com, that is Buddy Rawls email. Ask him about a custom cam for your setup. He hooked me up with mine and I gotta say it does exactly what he said it would, I'm very impressed. I hear you on the heads making the biggest improvement, I did that on my old 95': did nothing more than TFS TW heads (box stock) w/ 1.72 RR (too much, bent a valve when I over-revved) and converted to mass-air. The thing flew. I was very impressed. It did as much as my current truck w/ LT Headers and true dual exhaust, custom cam, lightly ported stock heads w/ 5 angle valve job.
The nice thing about the cam Buddy cut me was that it drives like stock w/ no chip needed but I am pretty certain that it will require a conversion to mass-air. I used the FMS kit and rewired it for the H.O. firing order (1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8) which is what the cam was cut for. Now it sounds like my old 89' Coupe
Chat at you guys later..
