I just had my trans rebuilt last week. I have a 4R70W. It was rebuilt about 2 years ago but I don't think it was done very well. I now have 175,000 on my truck and the day after it was rebuilt the shift points went really high and when it tries to drop into passing gear it goes into neutral instead. My mechanic and I can't figure out where the problem is. Any ideas would be great. Will I need a new computer, or chip, or can it be reset? Thanks.

I couldn't say for sure what would cause that but i think you need to find a new tranny rebuilder.
