Angry PCV on a 96 4.9 I6?

I searched and found a thread on an 87, but I looked for the PCV on my friends Inline 6 and can't for the life of me find that damn thing. Does anyone know where the PCV is exactly? I mean, jeez, it's usually on the valve cover somewhere, but I'll be damnded if I can find it.

I've got a 1987 F150, just replaced the PCV valve. I had a heck of a time gettin to it also. I got to it by crawling on top of the engine and following the 1/2 inch tubing from the left side of the engine around to the back. It's in the back part kinda on top of the engine. I never did see the location but was able to change it just by "feel". Good luck.

Smile Got it!

Thanks for idea Mike, that's exactly what we ended up doing, following the tube. Holy cow, that sucker is WAY back there eh? I couldn't believe it when I got my hands on it. Funny thing is, that's about the only thing on my 98 that I can change easily. Go figure, to change the sparks is insane, but pcv, not prob! Oh well.... :o
