What type of engine would be best to swap in my truck. I'm new to restorations but I have a pretty decent 88' f150 4.9 line 6. I want to swap it out for something a little more powerful what kind of engine would tall recommend putting into my truck. I'm looking for a plug and play situation preferably. Something with a little more power. It's already got a new tranny which made the car a standard not sure if that matters there's five gears on it.
