Gathering parts for a front wheel bearing replacement, and seem to be stuck at finding the seal.
Apparently this is a two-part seal (?). When I visit rockauto, there are one-piece and two-piece options, depending on the brand.
I was checking out Timken, and theirs is a two-piece for around $16, but many other brands (including Motorcraft) is only a one-piece, and around $7.
So, do I need a 2-piece or a 1-piece, or is it optional? But why wouldn't Motorcraft (that's Ford product, right?) offer the 2-piece seal??
