Just bought a used 93 F-150 (5.0, V8) that has about 188k miles. Not sure when the last oil change was. Wasn't sure what the best oil and filter to use. I have been doing some research and have heard 10w-30 Mobil 1 and Motorcraft Filter. Any recommendations?

 

With 188k, I don't think I'd use a full synthetic oil unless you KNOW for a fact that it has been used all along. Motorcraft is in fact a very good filter, but I would use a good name brand 5W30 conventional or semi-synthetic high mileage oil.
