Ok I have a 1995 F150 whit the 300 il6 I have replaced the motor .it idles fine.but when put into gear it's sluggish and shakes bad loses power on any incline .is it the tranny sift sensors some other sensor.thanks for your input this is my first ford and maybe my last and I'm 60

 

Have you looked at the usual stuff - spark plugs, wires, rotor, cap? Have you changed the fuel filter? Have you checked the cats for blockage? Checked fuel pressure with a gauge?

 

put a timing light on it, and make sure the spout hasn't been removed during the engine change, but make sure it is removed during the timing check.

 

Yeah, if your 25 year old F150 has a problem, you definitely should go buy a Dodge.
