Question poor response under no load

I noticed something just today with my 351...it doesn't respond to well to a quick stab at the pedal if its idling in neutral or park. I don't notice anything odd when i'm driving it, but the fact that it hesitates and shakes when i put it to the floor for a second when its out of gear makes me wonder whats going on. I'm thinking the O2 sensor could be on its way out or the fuel filter is starting to get dirty, but I don't know. Neither of my parents vehicles or my old truck acted this way. BTW I've only got 40,000 on this thing. Thx in advance.

It just might need a good tune up.Start with the plugs and work your way down the line. These damn things get alittle picky after awhile.
