help with adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

A couple of months ago I posted a thread asking if anyone had installed an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on a 5.0 (non HO) and a couple of people told me that I could use a mustang regulator on an F-150. Well I talked to someone from summit today to ask them to reccommend me one, and they told me that the mustang one will not work on an F-150, and that they dont sell adjustable regulators for trucks. Those of you that have them, are the ones you have designed for mustangs, or for trucks? I remember dvldog reccomended me the Mallory one and gave me the part number for it and everything, but summit doesnt have any left in stock. They have a BBK one and an Aeromotive perf. one, both designed for 87-93 HO 5.0's. They told me that neither one of these is designed for my application, so they had no idea if they would work. Anyone know if these would work on my truck? Thanks!
