'72 with Coyote motor

From the tone of his HP post, I think Brett has dealt with some unreliable carburated engines over the years, and I can identify. That said, I love the idea of restomods, so I think videos like this are wicked. Would love to tackle a project like this someday.

1972 I worked with a guy who put a 492 cu in 375hp 1970 Cadillac engine and transmission in his 1960 F150. He had a lot of fun with that truck. It made a great sleeper especially since he didn't do anything to improve the appearance of the truck. He drove it to work daily.

That awesome. An engine swap makes them perfect for daily driving. I actually had an old Chevy-swapped Jag XJ6 I used daily. It was a hoot!

Friend of mine has a 55 Chevy Bel Air hardtop that looks completely stock, but it's a resto-mod. It has a 5.3 LS motor and a 700R4 transmission. All electronics work. It has power steering, A/C, cruise control, and power windows.

I also had a friend who dropped a Toyota 20R into a Pinto.
