91 XLT No power after new solenoid install
91 XLT No power after new solenoid install
Son was helping me. He's 15 and Dad screwed the pooch here, and we hooked the starter wire up to the side with the positive battery cable. Now I figured the brand new solenoid is fried, so I went and bought another new one......problem is I have ZERO power anywhere in the truck now. I honestly don't know where to look to find out what I shorted out and or fried......Any ideas guys?
Check the power distribution box in front and see if any of the big fuses blew. There may also be a blown fusible link in the wiring harness near the battery although I'm not sure if the 91s had them. Its also possible that the battery cable itself has an open circuit. Good luck.
