New here, 4.9 with 300,000

I'm new but I've visited this website many times. I've had my 93 F150 for about two years now and it's still going strong. I currently have 297,000 miles on her; plan on keeping it until I can afford a new F150 with the 2.7.

I change the oil every 5 k, use 10w-30 and of course a Motorcraft oil filter. I try to keep the revs around 2k and occasionally wot (when warm) to keep the carbon at bay. Transmission still shifts fantastic, I'm using Valvoline max life transmission fluid. Only issues I have is the steering box needs replaced and the oil pan gasket leaks, other than that she runs like new.

You should be able to reach it. I'm selling mine because the fuel pump went bad and she needs a new steering box. Still don't regret buying it because I got around 15 k and the fuel pumps lasted 300 k.
