Couple Questions From A New 95' Owner

Hey guys, I know you probably get sick of answering the same questions from newbies, but I am as novice as they get. I just got my truck a few weeks ago and have a couple questions. First, the tires on it seem very small. What is the biggest size tire I can put on the truck without doing any other modifications? Yes I have read some of the other threads but there are so many opinions... Also, I have the 5.0 V8 if that sounds right?? How much can I tow? Like can I pull a large 5th wheel trailer or no? Also, what would be the best way to figure out if my rear gas tank works? I have no idea if there is gas in it already or not. Should I just click it on and see if it runs?? I don't want to run 20 year old gas through it if there is gas in it right?? Thanks for all your help.

Nice looking truck!
I don't think you could tow a 5th wheel. The 5.0 (or 302 to us old timers) only had about 180hp. You might have the 351 engine.
I used to have a 94 4x4 SWB that had 30/10.5x15 tires and wheels.
As I remember, the gas gauge shows the level of the tank you are switched to so just switch it and see.

No 5th wheel with that truck. Even a 5000# bumper pull on a conventional receiver hitch would be pushing it. The 302 is a good engine, but it's a car engine, not a truck engine.

It can handle a popup, but keep it under 5000#.
