dont understand

i have a 95 f-150 with 300 6 had thye motor rebuilt after 450,000 miles lol anyway runs great still but when i turn on thye headlights the motor dies
ive tried everything i cant figure it out any help

Check the charging system. The battery should have at least 12.5 volts with the engine off and the system voltage should be around 14 with the engine running.
